Visit the coconut sugar local factory a place where palm sugar is made is called “Tao Tan”. Sugar palm is a famous quality product of Samut Songkhram. When a coconut tree is about 3-4 years old, its spadices are cut, so that farmers can collect its sweet sap, then they simmer it over a fire until it becomes brown and dry and leave cold till become Coconut Sugar *this Program is available on private tour /as per request *

Arriving at the jetty you board long-tailed boats and cruise through the many small canals that takes you to the market at Duamnuen Saduak. Here you will be fascinated by boats of various shapes and sizes used by local merchants to ferry their goods.

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, This cemetery contain the remains of 6,982 war prisoners who lost their lives during the Captivity of the Japanneses Army that forced them to build the Bridge over the River Kawi and the Death Railway.

The World War II Museum, located at the site of the old bridge, was opened on 5 December 1988 by Boonyiam Chansiri and her family. Her father died fighting the Japanese when she was only eleven years old.
